not responding to touch

hi,

i am using Sony Live with walkman from the last 6 months .from last 2 days suddenly my phone stopped responding properly to the touch inputs. i have press hard to dial/type a message.even if i want to select a menu option i have to press hard otherwise it is not even taking the input.

Please let me know what should i do to fix this problem
