Hi,
I have Xperia M.
I was using it in India.
Now I moved to US. Here I am getting the message NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK.
The mobile shop workers are saying that the phone is not registered to use it in US. Why it is like this..? Do we have any fix for this. Please help me out as soon as possible,
Thanks!
Rukmoni.
Could it be that you bought it locked in India?
It is unlocked only. I bought it in Nov 2013. I had no issues using it in India.
I just think you need another SIM.Contact xperia care, ask them about this:

If your phone is locked to Indian Network then you need to get your phone unlocked in order to use with US.
You can get your Sony Xperia M phone unlocked from Network lock using unlock code. Unlock code is the best and safest way to unlock phone. You can get such codes from your Network service provider or any third party online vendors like SimpleUnlocking.com here you need to specify your country, Network name to which it is locked, IMEI number of your phone. Then they deliver unlock code to you through mail with unlocking instructions. Using this you can unlock your phone from Network lock easily.Once your phone unlocked you can use anywhere and use any GSM Sim in it.
