Not recieving msg

I am not recieving text msg fro a nokia symbian 40 phone of my friend.
Will this be any setting issue of blocking, spams or something. Please help.

Are you able to receive sms/mms from any other contact? are you able to send sms/mms to your friend?

I am not recieving msg of a particular service provider. This can be any network related problem. But it continuing for last two days.
