Not receiving texts

Hi. When I send a text it takes ages to be received at the other end -at least a couple of hours but I can't receive any texts!! My kids text me to pick them up from school etc and I really need my texts to work. Please help

did you had an iPhone prior to this phone? are you sending txts or MMS? also how long are the texts? do you have a data plan?

Welcome to the community,

You could try sending a SMS and then contact your network carrier, once you are speaking with someone simply ask them if there is a messaging in there system that has been undelivered. If they can see the message on there side then its a network issue
