Not receiving calls

Had a problem with my Z2 since I got it few months ago.  If I have not used phone for 15 mins or so and it has gone to sleep when someone phones me the phone won't wake up and therefore the caller is transferred to voicemail or if thats switched off they get a message saying the phone is unobtainable, the only way I know someone is calling is because I get a text to say a message has been left for me.

If I've used the phone recently, the call comes thru as normal.  Becoming a real pain, really puting me off gettting a sony phone again in future.

I'm getting a good signal, so its not like its to do with that. . . . . .

I suspect the same as I've got unexplained missed calls. However I didn't have enough to reach this conclusion yet.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

That is odd, just to confirm the call goes straight to voicemail without ringing on the phone but this contact can get through to this phone normally? I am asking this as there is an option you can select when setting up a contact to send all calls from that number to voicemail.

I'm having the same problem. No task killers installed here other than stamina mode.

Same here. Just did a hard reset using the pc app as the factory reset option in the phone changed nothing, as far as errors that is.

Myself & my mum also have the same problem with our Z2 phones. Were are also both with ee, maybe it could be a combination of the two that's causing the problem?

Bit of a coincidence that both of you are on EE......are both Z2s running exactly the same Apps/Settings?

The chances of both Z2s having exactly the same fault seems a bit dodgy....by any chance are they unlocked & if so can you try a different Carriers Sim & see if the fault is still there??
