Not Getting Full Text

When someone sends me a text that is 2 or more pages long, it doesn't come thru all the way. I'll get the first page of the text but that text will end with the word "null" and I won't recieve the rest of the text. It's happened when receiving text from different carriers and different types of phones, so I have to believe it's on my end. I wish I could post a screenshot

Any ideas on what I can do to prevent this from happening anymore?

You can post a screenshot if you request desktop version. This is a strange thing indeed.

Contact your carrier regarding that, you could try different Messaging apps such as hancend, also are those messages sent through iphones? are those texts perhaps longer than 160 characters that might be converted to MMS and there's a network issue? 

I used to have that issue with a friend and that was the issue.

Ok I logged on to my computer.....here is a screen shot of the issue I am having. It is happening with texts over 160 characters long, but not all the time. It seems to be hit or miss.  And it seems to be happening with any type of phone and any carrier.......so it makes me think it' something with my phone (xperia z1s)

Welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

I suggest you try clearing the data from the application and then send a message to yourself.

Menu > Settings > Apps > All > messaging > Clear Data.

Ok, I've cleared cache, cleared data...restarted. I even went ahead an force stopped once. It fixes the problem temporarily but then I have the issues again. Very frustrating
