My Xperia T is about 10 months old and has been OK until last week, I put it on charge overnight as normal, when I checked it in the morning it only showed 17% I tried it throughout the morning on my normal charger and from my PC at work, I checked the charger was OK with my colleagues phone and resigned myself to a trip too the phone shop. I left my phone on my desk not plugged in and showing only 5% remaining, when I check it later in the day the battery life has gone up to 68% I charged it up to 100% and it has been OK since.
