Not able to backup text messages by PC companion. Need help

Using Xperia Sola and recently tried to backup text messages since some conversations (with long history) are opening very slow and scrolling is also very jerky. Need some help on why the text messages won't be backed up while the rest of the phone is? And how to fix this?

also have the same issue,my phone is on ICS and when perform backup with PC Companion

the progess bar is always slow and holding there and have to cancel it manually

I had the same problem I back-up everything but when I restored it the sms that i had was not restored...

I dont know if this will help but it works with me

what I did is I created a back-up of the text in the phone itself... save it in the sd card then restored the sms on the phone itself... hope that'll work! :smileygrin:
