Hi,
I am not able to add my pc as trusted device.
I am trying to add it wi-fi as well by USB.
It is always disabled for me, it showing me msg "No trusted host : Turn on wi-fi, then pair your phone with other device by using a USB cable."
I had tried a lot to connect my Xperia S to my pc by wi-fi but no luck.
I remember that before updating to ICS my PC was in trusted device. But after updating I lost it.
Also I am not finding my PC in "Play on Device" list.
Am I missing anythig for connecting, or issue with update or a bug..??
Please help me.
Make sure that your phone is connected to the same router as your computer when trying to pair them using USB.
Then use PC Companion to establish the Wi-Fi pairing.
im connected to wifi -> done
then i connect usb -> done
then i just turn on the pc companion? (sees my phone)
and still no trusted hosts
what i missing?
Hi, I am too facing this issue;
it happened when i updated my phone (sony S LT26i) to 6.1.A.2.45
My Sony S is connected to PC via USB - OK
Sony PC Campanion detects my phone through USB connection - OK
My PC is connected to my home WiFi (AW-Villa) - OK
And then my Sony S is also connected to my home WiFi (AW-Villa) - OK
But when i go to TRUSTED DEVICES in XPERIA>CONNECTIVITY - I cant see my PC - NOT OK
Tried disabling windows firewall,
Theres no Anti-Virus software or Anything that could block a connectivity
My PC is running on Windows 8
Sony S is running on Android 4.04
Please help me on pairing or adding my laptop to the trusted host.
This was working prior to software update on my Phone.
I'm having this exact same problem on my Xperia Z1. I've read through the manual, but I'm not finding any help.
Has anyone found a way to fix this? I'm running Win7 on my computer, btw.
Thank you for posting this. I got to solve my "trusted host" problem with your screen cap. You go to My Computer, right-click and then you'll see the Network Configuration menu.
