The latest PC Companion still does not sync with Outlook 2013. Is there anybody who has a solution?
PC Companion does support MS Outlook 2013 but we have received some reports that an update from Microsoft may cause problems which we are looking into.
If you have problems, check if you have this update installed and if so try to remove it: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2817468.
No I do not have http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2817468 installed. Is there possibly another update since I believe PC Companion worked in July.
I'm not aware of any other update that causes problems. Try uninstalling Outlook and then reinstall it but don't install any updates for it and see if it works.
when ever I start PC Companion I receive an error message "can not find procedure starting adress WsCreateServiceProxyFromTemplate in olmapi32.dll". Is this the problem?
Yes, that's one of the error messages we've seen when you update Outlook 2013.
I'm not sure but i think that you manually have to remove some files like the olmapi32.dll when reinstalling Outlook.
I renamed "olmapi32.dll", uninstalled PC Companion and Outlook 2013, reinstall both again and now both Contacts and Calender sync properly.
Fantastic after more than month without sync.
Glad to hear that it works now
We are investigating the cause of this problem. Hopefully it's something that we can fix in future versions of PC Companion.
The latest update of PC Companion, 2.10.174 works perfectly with outlook 2013! After the update, the error message is gone and sync is running perfectly with latest outlook version!
Great update!
Thanks to feedback from friends, very good.
