NO SOUND FOR MESSAGES IN ICS!!!.....(not solved yet ,its been 4 months)

Hey ,i have a problem after upgrading to ICS,after some time i get no sound for notifications,after restart i get sound for notifications.that is so annoying for me.. i have repaired it using pcc..but the problem is still there

I have done everything from resetting factory settings to repair using SUS..and i have not installed any applications..

There are so many people having this problem...

SONY plz take this issue seriously and respond

does removing the dalvik cache work? search for the location in the net, it should be easy to get.

yes i did, i faced problems with my compass in google maps and some other apps, i cleared the cache and they became good..

it wont mess up my phone and apps right?

nope. cache is only a temporary file for your apps.. it will not do any harm. you will lost some things like highscore details in temple run, etc,, but nothing more.
