No Power Bank working after 4.3 update Zr

I am in great need of my mobile works with mobil power bank, it workt great with 4.2 and now it wont work at all.
I have tested the power bank o out concluded that it is defective or the cable, all the other mobile or tablet I've tested works! It is only Zr who refuses to load.
I need the extra power in case I need to call for help if I end up in emergency.
I work in the wilderness sometimes.

I have 75 Zr that do not work!
Not so easy to replace them, at Budget Cuts!

Most probably this wont be the issue with the phone. Better check whether the micro USB port is damaged or not.

(Try restarting the phone by pressing power button and volume up key for a few seconds)

If not ,I recommend you first to repair the phone software via Sony PC Companion:

Start PC companion, start "Support Zone", start "Update phone software" and click on "Repair".

Follow the on-screen instructions.

OR

Use Sony Update Service (SUS)

That sonuds like the battry problem to me.  I really think that the sony needs to upgrade the battery quality.  I have to carry my ravpower external battery pack to keep it live all the time in case I ran into emergencies.

PC companion and repair did not solv the problem.
Right after the update to 4.3, I tested mobile power bank and nothing happened. The day before, I had 4.2.2 and then it worked perfectly.

Hi, yesterday I bought a power bank, an external power source which I can take everywhere I go.
As soon as it arrived, I charged it for 4 hours. The power bank includes a cable which is used to charge the power bank (through wall charger) and to charge the Sony Xperia Z1 through the power bank.

The following is happening:

When I connect the power bank to my Sony Xperia Z1, using the original cable, the phone is not charging

When I connect the power bank to a Samsung phone using the original cable, the phone is charging

When I connect the power bank to a Samsung phone using my stock charger cable cable, the phone is charging

When I connect the power bank to my Sony Xperia Z1 using my stock charger cable cable, the phone is charging.


How do i get it working using the power bamk cable? I don't want to use my charger cable because it is too long and I need it for charging my phone the normal way

Hard to say for sure what could cause this but i suspect that the issue may be that not all pins are properly connected in the cable that came with the powerbank. I'm afraid there's no setting in the phone that you can change to make this work. You will need to use another cable.
