I have downgraded to kitkat as EE told me I needed to but I can't repair my phone via pc companion as WiFi is needed to dl large files. Is there a way to repair without WiFi?

How did you downgrade your phone? 

Why would a carrier/network suggest to downgrade your phone?

I got the firmware link through this forum, they plugged my phone into their computer and said I need to downgrade but I can't send it away because I have no warranty.

To clarify, I went into EE with this WiFi issue and they said there was a problem with the software and said I had to downgrade.

That's quite odd, did you/they used Flashtool or EMMA?

I don't understand why a carrier/network will suggest that you downgrade using a third party / Non-Sony software.

I have no warranty as my screen was smashed and I stupidly went to a shop instead of going through my insurance. So it was either doing it myself or having a huge software bill through EE, or so the staff said.

Got it, use flashtool again, but download a different firmware and report back.
