Xperia U ICS bugs   - keyboard acts wildly sometimes -Fast capture refuses to work -Bravia engine not working (i unlocked bootloader before)

Reading some threads on Xperia S section didn't turn out as i expected. A lot (really a lot) of issues after upgrading to ICS. I will think twice before upgrading, at least before releasing some fixes when major issues will reveal.

LifeDrainer - yes ,that's good idea. 1st to check forums for problems and after that to upgrade - or maybe not   It also depends on your provider becasue each provider customizes Android (logos, installed apps, issues...). For example our provider Telekom allways released new FW versions later than other world, but each FW version was 99-100% perfect.

As a proof - I had two FW versions .564 and now .184, and I didn't found an issue

Well if u observe, not ALL Xperia P users r facing issues with their ICS update...So there might be other factors responsible also..

That's exactly what I said. If any customer had bugs in his firmwares before, I think is big chance that ICS from his provider will have some bugs again  

I think that the problem with issues is not on SONY side (SONY is only making phones, or TVs...). It's also not problem on GOOGLE side with their original Android. Problem is allways in your provider which customized "default Android".

Dont buy Sony Product, they cant get One single update without Errors , if you chk the Thread there are network issues with all the Firmware updates Sony released and thats the Basic function of Phone...

Sorry Sony for this, i love the Cam and Music player in Sony Phones and thats the reason i bought this Phone.

Tohema - sorry but I don't agree. As I wrote before - for example I have no problem with versions .564 or .184 . There are milions of users with no problem. Maybe better way is to change mobile operator/provider, not Sony...

I agree with Rado77 !!! i had no problem with .564 and also .162 !!! now .184 works fine for me.

where is it given that ST25i is also getting ICS update? I am using ST25i only. But i didn't even get any firmware update for my phone

its just common sense, you are just only seeing people who has a problem thats why it looks like they are many to you, people that dont have any problem wouldnt post some thing lik "I update my phone and i dont have any problem at all" i have a problem too but i dont think the why that you are. if all the people that has no problem will post here then this thread will be full of post like that i have mentioned.
