No Internet

My Internet doesn't work if I am not connected to a Wifi Router or near a Tesco Store. It has only recently done this after the "Jelly Bean" Update I did a few days ago. I did indeed check I had gone over my contract but I hadn't. I tried phoning Tesco's and went to Tesco earlier this evening to see if any of the Tech Team were they but of course it is a Sunday and nobody was working till late hours. I use my internet a lot and it does save me a lot of money by using WhatsApp, Viber, Twitter and Facebook to communicate with people. So this is a problem for me. I always get internet wherever I go, unless I don't have any signal at all. Everytime I try and send a WhatsApp it will have a small timer at the bottom of the message, Whenever I try refresh my Facebook it will say "Network Error" and if I ever try refresh my Twitter it will say "Cannot recieve tweets, please try again later." It still comes up with a "G" at the top of my signal bars which usually means I have internet. Now I only ever get internet when it changes to "H" at the top of my signal bars and that is only ever when I'm next to a Tesco Store. I do think it's a bit of a coincidence how it's happened around about the time of this new update, and yes I am on Tesco Mobile.

P.S

I know I have spelt Ninja Turtle wrong. I was in a hurry to set this account up and it's not letting me change it but I suppose the name of my account is the last thing I am concerned about at this moment in time. Would appreciate it is someone could give me some kind of information as to what is going on with my Mobile Phone or if anyone else is experiencing a problem similar to mine.

Many Thanks

This sounds really strange! I recommend that you first of all check that your network mode is set to WCDMA/GSM. Check under settings > more.. (wireless and network) > mobile network > network mode.

Also you can try to delete your Internet APN settings if you go to "access point name" in the same menu where you find network mode. Press you Internet APN > menu button > delete APN. Once you have deleted the APN setting you can go to settings > Xperia > Internet settings to download new Internet settings to your phone.

Also restart your phone.

If the problem persists I recommend that you try with another SIM card in your phone.
