Hi I need help regarding my z3 i send it for repair and yet there's no feedback. Im getting frustated with the service im getting. First I called the customer service for 3 consecutive days and they,re telling me the same thing to wait within 24 hrs for a call from service center to set a pick up date for my unit. I fially decided to go to Imus at Sony pick up point after 3 days of waiting and not getting any help from customer service. When they accept my Z3 they made an initial check for water damage.Since the paper they took out from the sd slot is clear they say that maybe the product is defective. I used my z3 in a pool but first i secure all the flaps. Because i know if waters go in from the flaps that would be a big problem. Anywy my point is z3 is suppose to be water proof right of course you have to secure that flps are tightly close which is waht i did but still my z3 screen gone dead. The phone screen becomes unresponsive that is when Im out of the water already and hours had passed already. Actualy i did'nt submerged the phone that deep it's just like half a meter or less .because it's a kiddie pool. I just like to take some pictures of my kids playing in the pool. Mostly i'm taking picture off the water but my hands are wet. So i wondder why that simple dip in to the water can cause harm to my phone. I check my device warranty on sony website and it says until 12.29.15 so it means it is still under warranty and I am also a VIP premium service card holder but still i don't get the premium service Sony had promised. So disappointing and fraustrating right. I hope you can help me with my problem. Untill now i haven't heard anything from them. Will they fix it for free or totally replace my unit because obviously it is defective.I hope you can give me idea or explain to me what's going on with the sony service. Thank you and God bless
Sorry to hear that, but you have to contact your local Xperia Care and request a vacuum test
