NFC issue after 5.0 update

Ahoye community!

Here is a new topic on this NFC issue.

My NFC function hasn't been working since update to lollipop 5.0.

Actually I found some other topics regarding this but never solved/closed...

It is not working nor for bluetooth pairing (was before) nor with NFC patches.

Here is what I've found on topics and tried :

- restart in safe mode : no result

- repair my phone with pc companion (following the good procedure) : no result

- wait for 5.1.1 update few days ago :)))  : no result

Does anyone have the same issue and would be so kind to share it?

Or maybe someone knows it well and could share the way to solve it?...

Tested a Z3 running 5.1.1 and it works fine, could you tell us more about the issue? you might have a hardware issue and you might need to get your phone inspected by your local Xperia Care

Well all I can say is that NFC was working properly before the update and is not working any more now. I agree it is maybe a hardware issue but before sending my device I look here for similar issue just in case...just as a remark after a quick search on google (and here as well) I found out similar cases, but never solved...even after technical inspection, so I am a little bit concerned...on other hand I am studying the downgrade to kitkat 4.4.4 solution to validate wether or not it is hard or soft

Finally no luck with downgrade either.

Sounds like it is a hardware porblem in coincidence with upgrade...

The strange point is that after rebooting once firmware is replaced there is a window showing "NFC firmware updating", without any issue, so something happens there...and there is no sign of disfunction when using diagnosis soft.

So I'm quite circumspect but have no choice but send my device to Sony tech.
