New ICS Update Error

now i finally got pc companion telling me that ics is available...but when im half way through my phone turns off and the software tells me that there is no update available...?

any help wd be appreciated...

im just asking is it supposed to be like that because gingerbread came with an application installer...

that was only available in certain regions

there are myriad options in the market, and its better this way so you don't have a lot more bloatware and you get to choose an app that doesn't require a lot of permisions

Not that I do not know about the OTA, I just avoid the problem / big risk if done manually, and my phone warranty will not apply again.

I think Sony has improved the system updates, you can try to update via a PC companion Good luck

I think i heard that the update will come only over the Companion!

That was what i meant!

4.0.3 was only on PCC or SUS if you already have 4.0.3 you can update OTA

Yuuppy, thats right.. If you use your smart phone to upgrade OTA, please notify that your internet connection at a great speed
