New Calender

I don't know if this isn't already suggested but:

Google has updated his calender app and added some new and realy useful features like for example different colors. (you can see it here: Link) It would be nice if there might be an update for the Xperia internal calender app because it's impossible to use both calender apps at the same time.

I don't know where else I can tell this, so I hope someone of the Sony development team might see this. Or somebody here knows where I can suggest this.

I haven't tested it but i can't see any reason why you couldn't have both apps installed at the same time. What you can do in case they don't work together is to disable the phones preinstalled calendar from Settings -> Apps -> All -> Calendar -> Disable.

I think the problem is that both calenders are using the same settings and other files. So the sony calender always rewrites the settings with old datas, but the newer calender uses more and a little other settings. So both apps argue with each other.

Thanks for the tipp, I will try to disable the old calender. Didn't know that it is possible. I will see if it works, else I have to wait until the next update.

No, diabeling doesn't help. The second, new calender still cannot remember settings. Maybe because it is not full intigrated into the system.

So I have to wait until the next update.
