Hi,
I'm a happy user of 'Xperia neo V' that I purchased during august, 2011.
Right now, I was using ICS-4.04 (Updated via PC Companion suit).
I'm facing a strange issue - Last night my battery was completely discharged and phone got off.
Since then, I tried to turn it on multiple times (..while charging, as well as after charging for few hours).
But, every-time when I try to turn it on --
- It keeps rebooting till I remove the battery from my phone.
Wanted to update my phone to check if it can work without visiting the service center.
..couldn't do it, as I'm a linux user (and the PC Companion software is not working with wine).
(Last time when I updated my phone, I was on a company tour, and did it using my office laptop).
I want to know if I can change the *complete-body* of my phone.
I'm using the blue-black version and would like to have the same *new* body again.
I don't use cover for my phone and now within a year it has got a lot of scratches.!!
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
-
Unfortunately without the ability to reflash the phone I can only advise that you return the phone for assessment by an authorised repair agent; they may also be able to help regarding your second question.

same is happening with me with new ICS update. Even could not connect to PC companion. A lot of people having same problem with this ICS update, so it seems that some fault with the update , Sony has to fix this bug....
