Network problem in Xperia T2 ultra dual sim

@Rickard, Alexander,

I have been consisitently faced a network problem in my phone. Both SIM 1 and SIM 2 are affected. 

even when the netwrok shows full signal, the phone is unreachable and can’t make any call.

Diag:

1. Software update through Sony PC Companion 2.1.

2. Software update by local sony authorised service centre.

3. Different service provider like Airtel, Voda fone with old /new SIM card at multilocation.

4. Tried all conbination like SIM1 - WCDMA Preferred /GSM , WCDMA only, SIM2 GSM only. (In my case SIM1 user for 3G Data+voice call SIM2 used for only voice calls).

till problem in unsolved.

Now Local service centre wants to OPEN THE PHONE & fix it (the hardware) but I don't want some body will do a R&D on my 2 months old phone and return back to me with lots of dammage/ Scratches.

Please help.

I bought xperia t2 ultra dual,it has definitly network issues during the sim 1 calls. Just as other friends said in previous posts, calls are not audible and voice breaks. And If you want to use this phone, disable one sim! But we surely need both .I am just like one of owners whom previously mentioned,100% sure that it is a manufacturing deffect in this model. I have done too every study with this phone.I agree with that ,this is a born defect. If sony company wants that we tell good things to other persons about sony's good responsibility about its product and dont spread bad manner about this great company, should help to solve our issue ..... Hurry plz....such good product (with some small issues) and famous brand needs good support!!!!

Sir , just check your SIM. have u tried new micro SIM ? .. just swap both the sim and let us know. Also check quality of range in your area.

you can do repair option but meanwhile check above.

I have using Xperia T2 Ultra Dual for more than a year now
now.
At first when I bought this product, it started overheating within a week and I got my exchanged handset from service center after 15 days.
I started using the phone, I bought the phone basically for more and more calls with decent voice quality. But after a few months I started using dual sim, problem started there. Network shows full but voice cracks like crazy. It happens like this- I am talking to someone, voice is fine and if I just turn my head slightly away then voice starts cracking, moving back makes it fine again. Sometimes I can't even talk. Have to disable 1 sim and then call back, it works fine then. I stay always online with 2G Internet and if I am using Internet then the chances are that I will be unreachable to many callers for the second sim. Dual sim is also a mess while calling, if I need to call someone from my recent call log then obviously I will click on his/her number to call but while using Dual sim this option is delayed, sometimes for minutes and even to infinity. Have to disable 1 sim again. I have visited Sony Xperia Service Center 5-6times for these issues but everytime I got a software update. Last time on request the engineer opened the phone and part was cleaned. I have tried everything from changing Sim cards, network carriers, location of problem, phone format, checked with charged battery and what not.

I had a Karbonn mobile before this, I think its just a Local company which imports handsets from China but that company also resolved my issue of low outgoing voice on a particular model. It was a manufacturing defect in their model.

Lets see what Sony does for me.

Will Sony ever reply on network problems? Its a problem., my network keeps crashing all the time during a call, I changed both SIM cards for new ones, different network operators, also I'm working for a large network operator and I know the network isn't a problem but the phone. Sony do something my phone is almost useless.

I also have the same problem, can't access network, although showing full strength. Works perfectly in wife?

Hi Guys,

I am also facing this problem...

For last 1 month i am gertting this issue...

Even my phone is in working condition, also signal strength is full...

If people tries to contact me, network says "number is switch off or Not reachable"

But, after few hours i am getting a message from network service provider " (eg:XXXXXXXX978) tried to call you"

I dont know how to get rid of this issue

Can anyone help me. Because i always trust Sony...

I am invested 25k on this phone...

If anyone of you got a solution please let me know.
