I am facing tremendous network issue in my xperia U.
I have changed sim to Vodafone from Tata Docomo as i thought it might be a sim issue,
I am not even able to get 3G most of the time. It is like impossible to get a mobile network in a closed area like home or office.
When I get the network it is so much shaky even a voice volume fluctuation can also be feel at the other end of the call.
My Xperia U is with :
Android Version : 4.0.4
Build Number : 6.1.1.B.1.10
I also need to say that this problem happened just a 1.5 months ago and I had my motherboard replaced by Sony. I feel like I have a defective cellphone. Can you guide me the steps how to deal with it?
hi, i also was having same problem, i changed from reliance to vodafone, then problem was started. i have tried all the possibilities to get good net work with out any flctuations, there was no luck, finally i revert back to gb 2.3.7 from ics 4.0.4. Infact the problem was started after updating to ics from GB.
Is it working great now? Do you thing getting back to GB would be the only option available for me? I have submitted my U to sony service center today. Let`s see what would they suggest.
I would try to use another SIM card to confirm where the problem is located, phone or SIM.
If another SIM doesn't help I suggest that try to run a software reinstall using SUS.

I already tried that both the options.
I was using Tata Docomo and now I have shifted to Vodafone from last 10 days and problem is still there.
I have also tried to run a software reinstall but it din`t helped me at all in resolving this issue.
hi revert back to GB is one option and wait for next update of ics is second one, i hope .
