Network issue with xperia u

Hello, 

    I have upgraded my sony xperia U smart phone to Android 4.0.4 but I still face a network issue where I am not reachable on my cell phone. The signal shows full strength though. My model number is ST25i.

Is there a patch for this issue available?

Nope. The issue is there is no way to know that my phone is unreachable. It shows a full signal strength. I do not have another sim card that I regularly use. 

Do you know any android app that could give me the right status of my network connectivity?

I do not know what app could help you,but you could try safe mode:
