Network Connectivity Issue. Emergency Calls Only

My Xperia ION frequently loses the Network Connectivity, and says "Emergency Calls Only". After rebooting the Phone, it stays connected for about 6-7 hours and then again gives the same trouble.

The problem is aggrevated if i am travelling, in which case the issue happens almost every 2 hours.

Has any one found the Solution to this issue ?

the problem might be a faulty SIM card, get a new "MICRO" SIM card.
