Neo V wifi problem

Hi. I got a new Xperia Neo V just yesterday. But ever since I bought it and upgraded it to ICS 4.0.3 (4.1.A.0.562), the wifi isn't working. It shows as connected and signal strength is good too...but no app works with it and no link in the browser opens. Please help me, as wifi is one of the main functions of a smartphone and without it the phone is a total waste. Also, I'm using a TP link router TL WR740N.

Sounds like it would be wise to try performing a repair of your phone's software.

You can easily perform the interaction with our program Sony PC Companion, availalble for download from the link below. Slightly_smiling_Face

I think the Neo V is kinda weak in wifi reception, especially when updated to ICS. My wifi router is in living room, wifi signal of my Neo V in bedroom was OK (not good anyway) when running Gingerbread, after updated to ICS, either it is very weak or occasionally drop and need to manually reconncet again.

My daughter using an Xperia U with Gingerbread, in the same bedroom, wifi signal is OK (just like the good old days when I was in Gingerbread). Please don't tell me to try/do this and that, cos I did.

If some of you think that it could be the problem of my wifi router, then I can tell you guys that the wifi signal of my second phone (HTC Wildfire) is full at anytime, anywhere, inside my apartment.
