Hi, i am currently using Xperia Pro but i found out that i couldn't install the pc companion onto my laptop. Is there something wrong with it? It kept on says that MTP Usb Device fail..what does it suppose to mean?

Boot pc in safe mode with networking on,,, make sure your WMP is up to date

How do i know that my WMP is up to date?Sorry but i'm kind a slow on things like computer.

WMP, > right click anywhere in the top region > CLICK ON HELP > check for updates

Install java as well http://www.java.com/winoffline_installer

Did you check the above links as well ?

Disable antivirus and firewall as well
