Need Help Xperia SL Wi-Fi not Responding

Hello,

Recently I Purchased new Sony Xperia SL on 04-Jan-2013 & it is not working properly having many problems but right now just want to solve my first major problems.

1.    Wi-Fi Not working. Connects with my router very easily ZTE ZxDSL531B, but in browser fail to browse anything,no webpage open it, not able to  access internet.

Note: I have checked all possible Router settings which recommended by support team & also have latest update 6.1.A.2.55

My SSID: 13Chr (Is it Long? No Special Chr.)

Network Authentication : WPA-PSK

Group Relay Interval: 0

WPA Encryption: TKIP

WEP Encryption: Disabled

Channel: 11

When you are connected to the WiFi, can you access internet from any other apps, like Facebook?

Does the internet connection in the browser work when connected to any other WiFi networks?

I have the same problem .My phone gets connected to wifi but shows no signal whereas my ipod shows full signal. I tried connecting to internet through my brothers phone(using hotspot) still not connected . My router is BSNL'S TERACOM .Can someone help ?
