Need help with taking off pattern lock????

OK I have tried that power and volume up and down thing and that number that goes in the emergency call area I am lost I need to a way to get in to a phone I bought second hand, she decidedly changeover pattern lick while getting wasted now she couldn't remember then sells it to me anyways what r sister to do!!!!! I need help plz I have so computer to update it or what ever plz help!!!!

To remove the lock and reset the phone to factory defaults you can do a software repair using PC Companion using a computer.
