Having issues with the subject crashing when choosing certain contacts that I have created under favorites within my Google account. Doesn't make sense since some will open normally. The others simply closes the app completely and to take it one step further it does the same thing if I just scroll down to the same contact in the list of all contacts. I have cleared cache and force stopped the app and have completed a system reboot to no avail.

You have to keep pressed the power off option

Release it then press again to bring up the safe mode option

Press and hold the power button until you see the pop up menu > release the power button > long press on the power off option of the menu.

In safe mode it worked fine so how do I identify the third party app that is causing the issues?

You could uninstall one at a time until you find the culprit, it could be an antivirus, taskiller, battery app, ram app, clean master, etc.

Google Plus was the culprit would have never guessed it would've been that app.
