Having issues with the subject crashing when choosing certain contacts that I have created under favorites within my Google account. Doesn't make sense since some will open normally. The others simply closes the app completely and to take it one step further it does the same thing if I just scroll down to the same contact in the list of all contacts. I have cleared cache and force stopped the app and have completed a system reboot to no avail.

That's rather odd, could you test it in >>> safe mode just to see if it's a third party app causing this.

The device will not go into the screen to allow reboot in safe mode per the instructions on how to perform the function.

Positive and just hung up with Sony I'm going to install their Companion software to troubleshoot the device further.

You should be able to boot in >>> safe mode as the guide <<< or the video ^^^^

perhaps you are not following the steps correctly or you have a faulty power button.

I think that you might be missing a step, describe what you are doing

Pushing in the power on/off button then when the power off restart and screenshot window pops up I tap and hold for the screen to pop up that shows the option of restarting in safe mode but that window never pops up just the same one that pops up to allow you to turn off, restart or take a screenshot.

Do you keep pressing the power button or do you release it?
