Hello,

I'm very angry about it, i plugged my phone into the computer in order to put some songs and videos on it. Nothing wrong about that. So the Sony PC Companion popped an update message to jelly bean if i'm not wrong, so i accepted it, followed the steps carefully and during the update i saw an orange triangle in the SPC window, 2 minutes after i saw an error saying "sony update engine failure error (100)" now on my phone doesn't start anymore, i have this phone only for 1 week, i really need help. And please, don't ask me to reboot the computer, update java and **bleep**, i have all updated and tried SUS and Companion, to be honest, the Companion doesn't even recognize my z1 anymore. When i try to update it again it tells me to remove the batery or ignore if it's incorporated, but when i click OK nothing happens, the window just blinks. HELP ME!

Turn off your phone > connect it to a wall charger for 30minutes > install SUS > use SUS to update/repair your phone

Thanks for the fast answer, but i already saw it on thousand different posts. I need a diferent solution, as i said i already did it. Thanks!

EDIT: Forgot to tell you that i can't turn if off, when i plug the charger it keeps turning on and off, i pressed the main button + volume up and it vibrates, but turn on after a second

now that's quite odd, remove the SIM and SD cards > Press and hold power & volume up for more than 10 seconds

I installed a virtual box with windows xp and tried again with antivirus and firewall installed. I could restore the way it was, but still popping the update, i think i won't do it anymore. Thank you my friend! Sorry if i were rude any moment with you!
