My Xperia Z2 restarts itself daily

hi

my z2 restarts itself once in a day,when it was idle.in the diagnostics menu,restart timings shown.its very irritating.what is the reason of restarting.My z2 running on the latest official sony firmware. i.e 17.1.2.A.0.314.Sony plz help me out.My model is D6502.i hav also tried it in safe mode,but the problem still present.i have installed a few apps only from playstore market.plz help me sson..............

As you have this same issue when in safe mode I would advise trying a firmware repair:

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps

Before the software repair,have you tried airplane mode and the SIM removed?

first of all thanks a lot for just an fast reply to my problem.i am using sony mobiles from last three years.Xperia S,then Xperia Z and now i m with the Xperia Z2.

i will go with the solution given by you...and i will let you know after repairing software if the problem is still present or not....

No,i didnt try the airplane mode as well as replacing the sim....cause i cant switch off the network for a whole day.

i dont want to miss any incoming calls.thats why

I performed repair the software through pc companion last night.till now phone has not restarted yet.i think it could be working for me....lets see further on upcoming days if the phone has restarted....i will be in touch if anything is happened and inform you as soon as the phone has restarted itself
