My Xperia Z2 can't reboot

Hii guys i want to ask all of you about my problem with Xperia Z2.

After I updated the firmware for Xperia Z2 then I cant reboot my Z2 with power button.

Then how can I reboot without power off from power button ?

You cannot reboot with power button.You can force shutdown by pressing power button + volume up until the phone vibrates 3 times.

Thank's it's work.

I'm usually turn off Z2 by press power button then tap power off. 

But after I updated Z2 it's doesn't work again.

Why be like that ?

This is strange,does it still have the issue after you forced shutdown?

yep I still can't turn off my Z2.

Does it bug from the firmware ?

If this problem keeps happening intermittently please attempt a firmware repair and advise us if the problem continues:

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps

My Z2 locked up lastnight s o i rebooted it and it gets has far as the purple screen with the animated pattern and does not carry on to boot.

Tried installing the PC Companion software like stated above but it tells me to turn phone on with simcard in and fill in the pin. I cannot do this has my phone wont get past the purple screen.

What can I do to fix it, mobile is only 4 month old.

I have same problem, went to bed and left the phone on my night table and woke up and it was stuck on purple/blueish screen.

Tried repairing via PPC and all advices given above.

I fixed mine with PC companion, I ran the program and chose the support zone then update phone. It came back saying cant find the phone but there is a link to click if PC Companion cant find your phone.

It advises you then to unplug the phone (Leave cable in the PC )and turn off your mobile. Then if I remember right you press another link and it does something and tells you to plug in the phone whilst holding down the volume down button on the phone. Then after conencting the cable let go of the volume button and wait.

After about 5 minutes the progress bar in the app progressing and I believe it re-installs Android 4.4.4 again and voila my phone booted.
