My xperia X10 having problem downloading / update apps

Hi I need help. my X10 keep prompting error to download apps and updates after the update of the market, and after the 2.3 update my apps like facebooks , default message app keep prompting for force close .. thanks I got irritated by all this problem.

Hi, phone system seems rather unstable after the update, strongly advise you to perform either a Factory Data Reset (Goto Settings>Privacy>Factory data reset) or Software Repair (similar to Software Update).

This will erase phone data completely (SD Card not affected).

thanks . but  how do I backup my apps?

Frankly, I do not backup apps prior to Factory Data Reset or Software Repair/Update as apps are easily available in the Android Market. Also, it kind of serve as a cleaning up process, only download those apps that are used frequently (forget about those that were hardly utilised :smileywink:).

Anyway, I know that you can actually download ASTRO File Manager from Android Market to backup your installed apps (you may want to explore this app further). After the reset or repair process, you need to download ASTRO File Manager again to restore those apps.

If for some reason you decided not to backup your apps, it is still possible to view what apps you have downloaded previously by logging in to Android Market from PC/Laptop with your google account.
