I've got DLink Wi-Fi router at home. All computers need only the key and connect to the Internet without any problem.
But my new xperia mini wan't. It connects to the router, says: "Connected. Signal is very good." But it doesn't go to the Internet, says: "web-page is unavailable".
What could be wrong?
Thank you!
Thanks, but I did everything you've said.
I downloaded screenshots from my phone here: http://picasaweb.google.com/AlexandraMalenkova/XPERIA#
I can make screenshots from my router... it sees my phone.
P.S.: I've made some screenshots from my router...
Ok - nice pictures. You get a lot further than I had thought. Try this then: in your browser, do not enter a URI but try "192.168.0.1" instead. Do you see your router? Given how everything looks good, I am thinking that may be your DNS configuration is out (don't ask me why) so that the URI-to-IP resolution is failing. If that also fails, can you "ping" your phone from your computer?
Do a factory reset, if that doesn't work, proceed to software repair. Good luck.
Ann, thanks.
My phone doesn't see my router... :-((
I've tried to ping my phone from my computer. It said:
Respond from: 192.168.0.103. Host is unavailable.

Thanks. How can I do a factory reset?
MENU (left hard button)>Settings>Privacy>Factory data reset.
Good luck.
Download Wifi Fixer, sorted my problems out straight away.
I had the same issue but noticed that I could connect to some public wifi like Starbucks.
I updated the firmware on my Lynksys router which fixed the issue at home. It's not universal unfortunately as some routers are still an issue.
go to
Settings -->
Wireless and networrk -->
Mobile networks -->
Network mode
Set "WCDMA only" instead of GSM.
