My whatsapp doesn't work over data service, just over Wi-Fi, how Can I fixit?

Hi forum!

My Xperia Z have full data service, unlimited data by 3G, but the whatsapp just work by Wi-Fi, I tried everything,

• Restore the Xperia Z to the factory and then first install just the whatsapp
• Erase and Install the new version of the whatsapp
• Check the synchronization settings
• Uninstall the McAfee program

I did the restore twice times trying activate the whatsapp by 3G data device but doesn't work, just work through Wi-Fi

How can I fixit?

Which mobile operator are you using? If WhatsApp is the only app that doesn't work with your mobile data service, then it looks like your operator is blocking WhatsApp...

do you have stamina on? do you have another antivirus? taskiller? task manager? battery app? ram app?

I'm in Dominican Republic, My operator is Claro Dominicana, is America Mobil filial.

Yes is Only the Whatsapp that doesn't work, all others works fine..

This data service was working with my old phone 2 weeks ago, and today I put it in my Wife's Iphone and work fine, the 3G is on...

I'll ask to my carrier about any bloked services...

The stamina mode is off, and even try in mode on, in bout doesn't work

No the only antivirus is Mcafee and is off, even try uninstalled

No taskiller

No task manager

No task battery app

No RAM app

I tried restoring the phone and deactivated Mcafee, stamina, and all special settings and not work the whatsapp

Try removing proxy/port from your operators internet settings under Settings -> More -> Mobile networks -> Access Point Names -> [your settings] and see if that helps.

Hi Forum

Update the info about this issue, I installed My wife's MicroSIM in the phone and it received a SMS with the configuration, after this the phone get better internet access and the Whatsapp works!!

The MicroSIM is the same company but for some reason my MicroSIM Didn't recibe this configuration, even if  I tried many times get it the internet options in the  Settings > Xperia™ > Internet settings.

Now there is one more APN called INTERNET plus MMS and WAP that were there before

I hope this information will help some others

i tried it doesnt work . still same problem chrome working under 3g , but whatssape messenger viber dont work under 3g only under wifi
