My tablet screen doesn't respond

my sony tablet everything works fine, but the screen doesn't respond at all when i touch it, everything else is okay..

i tried to shut it down and restart it but still it doesn't work or respond at all when i touch the screen, so please help me..

Check if there are any cracks on the digitizer, you might have to contact your Local support to get it inspected and/or repaired.

Does the tablet has a protective case, film, glass?

If the issue is not caused by anything @uliwooly suggested, can you please try your tablet in safe mode and see if the problem persists?
