My phone is not switching on

my phone suddenly switched off when i tried to unlock it and it never switched back on. after seeing the solution in the net i am now charging it, initially it was just blinking read and vibrating for 3 times, but now no reaction at all, i have been charging it for 1 hour, help me please

Yes, you can connect the phone to a wall charger > press and hold power & volume up for 10 seconds > let it charge for 3 hours 

make sure to use a wall charger and not the dock or a computer
