My keyboard isn't working properly after software update

I ran the software update this morning and now certain letters on my keyboard are not working, my apps disappeared and my previous custom layout is gone so I have to search for apps by alphabetical order only
Trying to put apps back and the screen jumps and my phone is just a mess.
Anyone else having problems?
I've restarted but then all the apps go again and I'm back to square one.

Did all that and probs still there Sao must be a third party app. Should I uninstall any recent nee apps?

The apps are fixed but keyboard not. Ran diagnostics and the screen is fine but yet certain letters on keyboard are not working - can I uninstall Xperia keyboard and reinstall to see if that works?

you can only uninstall updates, or install a third party keyboard.

Ok...I uninstalled the update...any other suggestions?
