My K810i suddenly stopped working, what should I do?

My K810i suddenly stopped working.  I thought perhaps the battery had gone dead so I plugged it in for charging.  The red light in the lower right outside corner comes on, but the screen does not indicate the phone is charging.  I replaced the battery with my spare and again nothing happened.  I let both batteries charge for several hours and still nothing.  What should I do next?

http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/update-service/ Try running the update service on it and see if that restores your phone. You will unfortunately lose any personal data from the phone memory by doing this.
