My Experia

How do I set up My Xperia.

I have found the following instructions at https://myxperia.sonymobile.com/

How to activate your device

  1. From the Home screen, tap the Applications screen icon.
  2. Find and tap Settings > Xperia™ > my Xperia.
  3. Tap Activate, then tap Accept to agree to the terms and conditions for my Xperia.

But on my Z when i get to step 2 there is no my Xperia link

I am in the UK and have a Google account which is set up on my phone.

If it doesn't work on my Z what are the alternatives for finding or controlling my phone if I loose it or its stolen.

Hi I am in the UK too and don't have it either.  If you go to the support link on the web site in there it says:

Note! The my Xperia service is currently available as a pilot offering to Xperia™ users in the Nordic countries. During the pilot, my Xperia is only available in English.

The feedback link on the web site takes you to the forum discussions about this

It's a great feature that hopefully will become standard. Yes a number of apps are available that do similar but I would prefer a Sony solution.
