MXTP issue

Hi! Just want some help figuring out to solve my issue regarding it.. What happened is i enabled ultra stamina mode but when disabled it got stuck there and i ended up resetting my phone.. Unfortunatelly this my Xperia protection popped out on my screen trying to authenticate but it couldnt recognize my gmail account.. Any advise guys?

Sony does not provide the software upgrade for this failure, I bought the team in November 2015 and in February with the update has been locked me

I have contacted support Argentina, USA and Mexico, No solution!!!

I live in Argentina, and have the ability to bring the phone to a technical service of the United States, I guarantee that they fix me? or give me a new phone or my money back?

Hi everyone
I've read that a lot of people have the same problem than me :
I have a Sony Xperia C4, and the MyXperia protection got activated.

now my phone is locked.
When I try to authenticate it, it just says "my xperia helper has stopped" .
So i cannot even access the menu to put my google account login/password.

I can access MyXperia website and I was able to locate the phone, play a sound, but not to unlock it.

I tried a factory erase and update using the sony pc companion, but I still have the same problem "my xperia helper has stopped" when i push the "authenticate " button ...

Is there a working solution please?

can I flash the boot or do anything to solve this?

PS:
I live in Argentine where Sony doesn't have any local support for Xperia C4

Hi! I am from Argentina too and I have solved the problem. As Zatgetsuu said, there is no problem flashing the phone following this instructions:

But be aware of these: I wasn't able to do it with Windows. When trying to install the Flashtool drivers I couldn't get through it, and the flashing process kept failing and failing without the drivers being installed correctly. The solution I found was making the complete flashing process with Linux instead of Windows, as this system doesn't need the Flashtool drivers to make the process.

I know that not everybody handles Linux, but this was a solution I found and may be useful for some people. Maybe making the flash with Mac can solve the problem as same as Linux.

Dear Support,

I went to the Sony support centre but the C4 is not supported in India. With no way of accessing the phone or even knowing how to downgrade to the last version of software I'm really helpless and stuck with this phone. How do I get this to work? MXTP always crashes when trying to unlock the device, fastboot mode is not recognised on any pc. No way of accessing the phone what do i need to get this to work? Ideal would be to send the requiisite software to a support shop in New Delhi and then they can do this on their own.

Can you send a fix or something on the repair site if not to one of your sony support centres?

I can't authenticate my z3+ with myxperia and it always prompts the message incorrect account or password. It has already locked me for one month...

I think there is no local support in Australia... really frustrated that my own handset refuses my authentication...
