Their service centers are pathetic to say the least.

I would rather wish to buy the battery/solve the problem online (thur google or whatever).

Replying to old thread because nobody gave the answer yet: 

Try Amazon. There are some other websites that may sell this battery, The part number is GP0836L17 so if you Google for "GP0836L17 battery", you might come across other sources.

I have an MW600 as well, and it's more expensive to buy that battery where I live (Canada). Twice the price, in fact. I don't think that's feasible for me, personally.
