This has been an ongoing problem for many months, when playing any music from various sources (sd card, google play, 8 track etc via Internet, radio via Internet). I get constant split second silence during playback, I thought it was a Bluetooth issue but it is the same using phono plug. After much searching I tried stopping all processes possible & this reduced the issue a lot, especially with screen on. With screen off it is definitely more frequent.
