Multitouch on X8

Is there any plans to add multitouch in X8?

I don't think, that X8 have any limitations for this.

Some games use at least two buttons in same time...

Hello, there has been no talk of multi touch for the xperia x8 but I would keep checking the SOny Ericsson Product blog for all the latest news officialy from Sony Ericsson.

there will not be multitouch because the tehnology of the screen is CAPACITIVE. read this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capacitive_touch_screen#Capacitive

Acer Liquid have same screen touch technology and with 2.1 got dual touch.

X10 got dual touch after update.

I can't believe that X8 so cheapy phone, that can't have even pinch zoom. it's funny!

I think it's more of a hardware than software limitation when it comes to multitouch on an X8.  In other words, multitouch capability isn't built into the phone, so no software update will ever enable it.

Also, a capacitive screen has nothing to do with multitouch - they are two completely different things.

the Xperia X8 won't get any future updates
