multi angle camera shot in Ray??

hey..yesterday i was multi angle sweep camera on my friend's xperia s..i wonder can i have it on my xperia ray??i just loved it..i have the 3d sweep camera but it isnt similar to the multi angle camera..the multi angle camera is just osum..plz can any1 say about this??

@Slimshaddy is the regular sweep panorama that you can change the direction of the sweep

Nope your wrong sorry. It is a bit complicated to explain, however on your handset Uliwooly go to the screen with the option and take the image then view it and you will see what I mean. Then I hope you can describe it better than me

I stand corrected

So it creates the illusion of depth (Stereopsis)  as you tilt the phone side to side

I have a problem, it was great when I took the pictures I was able to tilt the phone and see the effect BUT once I exit the picture and went to the Gallery app -> open the picture -> the effect was gone, even if I try to open the picture from the camera app the effect it's gone.

Is it only there when you take the picture and or using a 3D tv?

Darn, I just got a good description from the guide:

"In sweep Multi Angle mode, the camera takes several images at different angles as you sweep across the scene. These images are saved together in an MPO (Multiple Picture Object) file. When you tilt the camrea during playback, the camera sensor dectects motion and displays the image in a 3D-like view on the camera screen." - Page 105 Xperia S user Guide.

Are you opening it with the 3D camera applicaton?

(It needs to be opened by a device with an accelerometer and the application; so really the same kind of phone at this stage)

yeah I did, I'm using the 3D camera app to open it, I'll keep trying

Strange, do let me if it continues not to work, I just tried with two phones and you are correct it will not open with the gallery you need to use the 3D Camera application.

ok, got it, so I must open the camera and then 3D sweep multi angle to access the correct file, a lot of work
