Mp4 and youtube app video does not open sometimes along blank recorded video having only audio

My m4 aqua (a new one ) sometimes shows cant play the video when i open mp4 type of videos. Amd same is the case with youtube app and also sometimes in my revorded video i will get only the audio file no picture nothing.....help me out its irritating..

I've found out that when I change the resolution to something lower than 720p it works fine. In any case it's an error but rebooting constantly is annoying to watch a video. Hope this helps

what you describe seems a connection issue, it might be too slow.

No. I've done it multiple times to be sure and checked my connection, furthermore I only use WiFi

Did you tested on safe mode?

Also keep in mind that the M4 has a 720 screen not 1080p

I didn't test it in safe mode. I'm aware of the resolution, that's why I said less than 720p. Safe mode can't give me the access I need for my daily phone usage so it's pointless for me.

Its a way to test preloaded apps w/o third party apps that might be causing a problem

Some times videos on youtube and Facebook doesn't work and i can't update Youtube app. Also after two weeks using without restart music my phone stoped working.what should i do to fix this big problems?

how fast/slow is your connection? are you trying to play HD videos? anything above 720p for this phone its an overkill since the screen is 720p

Hi,

I have the m4 aqua a few months now, brilliant phone, but I've been noticing some issues the last few weeks.


When I record videos there is just a black screen bit it records the audio? Very annoying as I've missed lots of moments when recording without realising!

Also, when connecting the phone to PC it will charge but the PC does not recognize it! There is no Media Transfer Mode or Mass Storage Mode in the Xperia Transfer settings, unlike some other people's phones! I read that it has something to do with it being removed after the latest software update?

Anyway, I just said I would mention my problems in hope of a solution, or the planned Marshmallow update will solve these issues!

I have tried restarting the phone, computer, format my SD card, everything and still no joy!
