movie creator

I updated the movie creator app from the update centre and now my previous movies don't work. It keeps saying the photos or videos have been removed which they haven't. How can I fix this and get my old videos back?

Have you tried to clear data for movie creator app?

No. I cleared the cache but when I click clear data a warning box comes up telling me it will clear all files too... Would this include my previous movies?

It will erase the data but it should gather them again,right as before.

Tried it now everything has gone. Do you think it will recreate the movies?

It should,but it might take some time until it finishes if you have lots of media files.

OK it's recreated some movies but they are not the same as was there previously. Also some photos that were in movies before are not now. Does anybody know of any similar apps that are better than the Sony one?

Wait some more,it will make some others too.I do not know any other app,sorry.
