Movie Creator - removed video files now create movies wanted

Hope someone can help...

I exported all my movie files to clean up my phone before saving a few Movie Creator edits the phone automatically produced. This edits now won't work because the correct files can't be found even though I've added them back to the 'Camera' folder. 

Is there somewhere else I can add the video files so that Movie Creator can find them?

Restart your phone and wait, the app should start creating those movies later on, maybe

You can try to clear data for the movie creator and restart the device.It should gather photos back to create videos just as uli said. Keep us updated.
