More than one bluetooth connection?

I need to know if I can connect 2 things via bluetooth at the same time. I need to have an earpiece and a card reader connected, can i connect them both at the same time ?

It shouldn't be any problems, no. As long as the devices are not using the same bluetooth profiles, which not seems to be the case here.
